A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has gone beyond one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The Drug prevention campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
